28th-30th April 2009 at Hall 9, NEC Birmingham

After the resonant success of Multimodal 2008 at the NEC in April, there is no doubt that the event is on course to become the UK’s foremost transport and logistics exhibition. Multimodal 2008 opened its doors to around 1900 high quality visitors and 700 VIPs, conference attendees and press. These key industry figures, eager to source new products and services, make new contacts and take advantage of the numerous networking opportunities were greeted with enthusiasm by exhibitors. Substantiating this success, 68 per cent of exhibitors rebooked on site.

Multimodal is unique. It is the only event in its field to embrace the complete spectrum of freight transportation and logistics. Despite current trends, the show has already grown by 60 per cent in its second year, with new exhibitors representing 30 per cent of the expansion. Totally unique in its appeal, Multimodal is an educational, topical and informative experience for all. Whether you’re a buyer, seller, shipper, freight forwarder or equipment supplier, the event will provide a stimulating and interactive environment where you can build your business and expand on customer relations.

Some of the major names that have already pre-registered include 3M, BP, British Harlequin, Epson UK, Fiskars Brands. Ford Motor Company, Jaguar/Landrover, Kimberly-Clark, Tesco, Trelleborg, Triumph Motorcycles and Whirlpool.

With this combination of industry knowledge and Clarion Events’ exhibition pedigree, Multimodal 2009 will be an informed and inspirational event. Associations already partnering Multimodal include The Rail Freight Group, The Container Owners Association, BIFA, The Freight Transport Association (FTA), The UK Warehousing Association and the Chartered Institute of Logistics & Transport, amongst others.
